On December 11, 2025, Professor Jelani from the Department of English was invited to host an event titled "Who’s Coming for a Cuppa – Introducing the Culture and Languages from a Caribbean Country: St. Lucia." The session offered an in-depth introduction to the rich linguistic heritage, culture, and history of Saint Lucia. 23 participants attended the event.
